FOLEY — Hubertina “Tina” Meens Sprouse, 66, departed this life Tuesday, March 24, at her home in Foley, surrounded by family.
Tina was born Feb. 2, 1953, in Nieuwenhagen, Netherlands, to Al and Bertha Meens.
She was a graduate of the University of West Florida, where she obtained a degree in marketing.
Tina was united in holy matrimony to Al Sprouse on Sept. 25, 1987.
She was a dedicated member of Swift Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon, founded the church craft guild to raise money to help pay for paving the driveway, director of the Swift Food Pantry, was instrumental in joining Feeding the Gulf Coast, and she initiated an adult Bible study group.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Tina was loved by many. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by daughters Lauren (Eddie) Robinson of Daphne and Devin (Josh) Boyd of Fairhope; grandchildren Gracie, Ella, Brayden, Fletcher, and Andrew; and a host of friends and family members.

Her life will be celebrated with a small, family graveside service this Friday. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
