Christmas marketplace |
Planning session coming up
Friday, Aug. 2 • 10 a.m.
fellowship hall
Everyone is invited to join us on Aug. 2 in the fellowship hall to discuss ideas for the Christmas marketplace.
We need your input as to what kinds of crafts you can make, if you are willing to teach a craft class, what other kinds of things sell well like baked goods, new or gently used items, etc.
Do you know someone outside of Swift Church that might teach a class or provide something? We need ideas and we need your help. Let’s put our heads together and see what comes out.
Your marketplace committee members are Susie Alexander, Janelle Armbruster, Karen Langley, Pastor Alexandra and Kathy Menk.

Swift Church cookbook |
Deadline is almost here
— Wednesday, July 31
The recipes have been coming in, but we have not heard from everyone and we still need more of your favorites for our cookbook. We have received 192 recipes from 25 individuals. We need more recipes in every category. So, thank you to those who have submitted recipes. And, we would love to hear from those who have not turned in your recipes yet.
After we have had a chance to compile and organize the recipes, we will be asking for volunteers to help with typing and proofing to complete the cookbook.

The food pantry is open every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. to serve the community.
This week, we served 65 families and 205 people.
If you are interested in helping or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.
If you have questions or want to volunteer, please contact Jan Taylor (251‑978‑6418).
