Isaiah 43:16–21 • Matthew 2:1–12
■ The Lord’s Supper will be served. All are invited to the table.
■ We will celebrate Epiphany and receive our “star words” for the year.
■ After worship, we will enjoy our first meal and fellowship of 2025.

| Join us for a congregational meal and fellowship in the fellowship hall immediately after the worship service.
If you would like to help the deacons provide fellowship treats (either a sweet or a protein or a fruit), please sign the list on the table in the fellowship hall, or contact Kathy Menk, 251-518-7966.

During the month of January, we will continue to worship in the sanctuary due to all the flu and Covid going around.

God is good all the time.
■ Intercessory prayer group meets each Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the chapel.
Lord of Peace, we lift our nation to You. Calm the storms of division and conflict. Pour out Your peace upon our land, soothing hearts and minds. Help us to be peacemakers in our communities, reflecting Your love and grace.
■ Our food pantry is normally open to serve the community on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.
■ Finance committee — Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m. in annex room 2
■ Worship committee — Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 4 p.m. in annex room 2
■ Buildings and grounds — no meeting this month

■ Christmas market planning meeting for 2025 — Please join us for our first planning meeting on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

The food pantry normally is open on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. to serve the community.
This week, we served 40 families, including 141 people.
If you are interested in helping or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.

| ►‘Snacks with Susan and Daryl’ discussion class | |

| Join Snacks with Susan and Daryl for an eight-session overview of “Christianity’s Family Tree” by Adam Hamilton.
Each denomination has a unique, valuable perspective to offer on the Christian faith. For each group, he gives a brief history, outlines major beliefs, and describes some things we can learn from tradition to strengthen our own Christian faith.
We meet Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 4. We hope you’ll join us.
