Are we weak and heavy-laden, cumbered with a load of care?

Precious Savior, still our Refuge — Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer;

In His arms He’ll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there.”

— From the hymn “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”

Christian education
►‘Snacks with Susan and Daryl’ discussion class

Sundays from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in annex room 4

Join us for Snacks with Susan and Daryl as the Robertson men of the hit television show, “Duck Dynasty®” tell stories and discuss some of the Bible’s most-loved parables. In this five-session video-based small group Bible study. We are going to look at faith-based values and how to apply them to your life. Let’s explore this together.

Sessions:

      Redonkulous Faith
      Radical Forgiveness
      Ravenous Prayer
      Real Obedience
      Rowdy Kindness

Join us for Snacks with Susan and Daryl every Sunday morning at 9 in annex room 4 for a bite to eat and some thought-provoking conversation.

►Adult Bible study class, led by Bill and Catherine

Sundays from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in annex room 2

We will continue our study in Leviticus.

Leviticus contains commandments given to Moses by God at the foot of Mount Sinai over about a one-month period just prior to the Israelites’ journey to the Promised Land.

Leviticus contains instructions for worship and personal holiness. Although the New Testament (the New Covenant) abrogates Old Testament ceremonial law, the Levitical priesthood, and the sanctuary, the Book of Leviticus offers us greater insight into the nature of God and how He wants us to relate to Him.

If you are new to the class, don’t worry about missing previous lessons. As in the rest of the Bible, each verse is almost a lesson in itself. Visitors and new class members are always welcome. We have coffee brewed and take turns bringing pastries.

The class meets in annex room 2 on Sundays at 9 a.m. We look forward to seeing you.
