Vacation Bible school at Swift Presbyterian Church will be held Friday, July 27, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s theme will be “Rolling River Rampage.”
Dinner will be served Friday evening at 5:15, and lunch and snacks will be served on Saturday. We will conclude with a water party on Saturday afternoon. Volunteers will be needed to direct, decorate, teach, crafts, cook, and provide snacks. We will also welcome any donations toward the rental of a water slide for the closing on Saturday.
Please contact the church office (251-943-8367 or email@example.com) or Teresa Thomas (251-603-2209 or firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would be willing to assist in some capacity. This will be for children ages pre-K3 through fourth grade if there are enough volunteers.
At Rolling River Rampage, children will discover an interactive, energizing, Bible-based program that will give opportunities to experience the ride of a lifetime with God.
After a high-energy opening, the rafters make their way to various stations such as Bible story, recreation, craft, music and snack.
Rolling River Rampage invites children on a whitewater rafting adventure to experience the ride of a lifetime with God. Along the river, children discover that life with God is an adventure full of wonder and surprise, and that they can trust God to be with them through anything. Relevant music, exciting science, creative crafts, fun recreation, and memorable Bible stories will help kids know that God is always with them as they ride the rapids of amazing grace.
On the river, the participants will find adventure, acceptance, joy, rest and peace.
The theme Bible verse is:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.”
— Isaiah 43:2, Common English Bible
