►Adult Bible study class, led by Bill and Catherine | |
Sundays at 9 a.m. in annex room 2
Join us as we study the book of Hebrews.
This masterful document was written to the Jews who were struggling with accepting Jesus as the Messiah. The message of Hebrews is that Christianity surpasses Judaism because it has a better covenant and a more sufficient sacrifice for sins. We are taking the book verse by verse, discovering how the Old Testament writings pointed toward the New Covenant.
Today we will begin studying chapter 6.If you are new to the class, don’t worry about missing previous lessons. As in the rest of the Bible, each verse is almost a lesson in itself.
Visitors and new class members are always welcome! We have coffee brewed and take turns bringing pastries. We look forward to seeing you.
