God is good all the time.
■ Congregational meeting |
A congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8, immediately after the worship service for the purpose of electing a nominating committee. The committee’s work is to develop a slate of church officers (class of 2026) for election later in the year. We need two members of the congregation to serve in the capacity for the year.
If you are interested in serving or have questions, please contact Susan Pichoff at tabfanatic@gmail.com or 251-233-9486.

The food pantry is open every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. to serve the community.
This week, we served 67 families and 198 people.
Your support is needed to build a pool of people to pick up donations from Publix every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Also, help is needed with unloading of the senior boxes that we receive from Feeding the Gulf Coast once a month. You will need to be able to lift 40 pounds.
If you are interested or know of someone who might be interested, please consider getting involved or at least share the opportunity to volunteer with others.
If you have questions or want to want to volunteer, please contact Al Sprouse (251-744-1944) or Jan Taylor (251-978-6418).

►Do you love children and enjoy sharing Bible stories? | |
Since we do not have an interim pastor, the preschool is looking for volunteers to share during chapel time at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays. The stories are provided and you would only need to say a prayer and share the story. You could even lead in a song if you would like.
If you are interested in volunteering for a Wednesday, please call or email the church office and let us know.

Thank you for your generous pledges and ongoing offerings. Your support and commitment to Swift Church is greatly appreciated.
