By now, you should have received your stewardship letter (see below) and your financial and time and talent pledge cards. Please prayerfully consider what God is leading you to do next year at Swift Church.
October 2024
WOW!
Dear Swift Church family,
What an amazing year we have had at Swift Church! God has taken care of us in so many ways:
● Faithful and dedicated pulpit supply
● Faithful and dedicated leadership
● Faithful and dedicated congregation
And then, He provides us with our ultimate gift this year — Alexandra as our pastor.
Now, it is our turn to thank God for all that he has done for us. This is our opportunity to say “Thank you, God,” by committing ourselves to His work through Swift Church.
Dedicating our financial support, our time, and our talents, says that we are “truly thankful.” This can be done by completing our pledge and time and talent cards for 2025.
Nov. 10 is Stewardship Sunday. Your completed cards can be turned in anytime beginning Oct. 6 through Stewardship Sunday, by mail, bringing to the office, or placing in the offering plate.
We know that our God is faithful and just. Let’s look forward to how God will bless us in the future.
Love In Christ,
Betty

■ Intercessory prayer group meets each Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the chapel.
“Prayer is not designed to change God; it is designed to change us. Prayer is not calling God in to bless our activities. Rather, prayer takes us into God’s presence, shows us His will, and prepares us to obey Him.
— From Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby
