‘We Always Pray for You’
— The Rev. Alexandra Hutson,
pastor

■ Today we return to the sanctuary for worship after a renovation, and the service includes a rededication.
■ The Lord’s Supper will be served. Everyone is invited to the table.
■ This is All Saints Sunday.
■ A special guest will lead the music today: Nashville singer and songwriter Joey Boone, who performed for us Saturday.
■ This is our designated monthly “bring a friend” day. We welcome all who join us for worship, study and fellowship — today and each time we gather.
■ To join “live stream” worship, go to Facebook — Swift Presbyterian Church.
■ Worship services are available for viewing in the afternoon on the church website and YouTube.
■ Bulletins for today and recent weeks. Click here.
Today we will celebrate All Saints Day, in remembrance of the loved ones we have lost over the past year. A bell will ring after each name is read.

| We are looking for men and women of Swift to support our nursery for our 10 a.m. service, two adults each Sunday. If you are interested in volunteering either once a month or once every two months, please contact co-captains Kathy Menk at 251-518-7966 or Eunice Ray at 251-979-2231 or see them after church. | ►‘Snacks with Susan and Daryl’ discussion class | |
Sundays from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in annex room 4
‘The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi’
Join Kathie Lee Gifford as she asks how could she be sure of what the Bible was really saying, when we are so separated from the ancient Jewish culture in which it was written? It wasn’t until she began studying the biblical texts in their original Hebrew and Greek — along with actually hiking the ancient paths of Israel with Rabbi Jason Sobel, a messianic Jewish rabbi — that she gained a deeper knowledge of God Himself.
The schedule:
• Nov. 2 — Class will not meet.
• Nov. 9 — Galilee: Ministry Grounds
• Nov. 16 — Mount of Olives: The Triumphal Entry
• Nov. 23 — Jerusalem: Crucifixion and Resurrection
Join us for Snacks with Susan and Daryl Sunday mornings at 9 in annex room 4 for a bite to eat and some thought-provoking conversation.
| ►Adult Bible study class, led by Bill and Catherine | |
Sundays from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in annex room 2
The class is continuing to study the book of Leviticus.
Leviticus contains commandments given to Moses by God at the foot of Mount Sinai over about a one-month period just prior to the Israelites’ journey to the Promised Land.
Leviticus contains instructions for worship and personal holiness. Although the New Testament (the New Covenant) abrogates Old Testament ceremonial law, the Levitical priesthood, and the sanctuary, the Book of Leviticus offers us greater insight into the nature of God and how He wants us to relate to Him.
If you are new to the class, don’t worry about missing previous lessons. As in the rest of the Bible, each verse is almost a lesson in itself. Visitors and new class members are always welcome. We have coffee brewed and take turns bringing pastries.
The class meets in annex room 2 on Sundays at 9 a.m. We look forward to seeing you.
